Pretty chill place to live , usually quiet. (On site Security is a plus) The apartments are updated and everything is within wallking distance ( HEB , Dollar Tree etc. Pricing is good.

I’ve had a wonderful experience living at the Carrillo apartments . The property is always well-maintained, clean, and safe. The management team—especially megan and shae —has been outstanding. They’re responsive, professional, and genuinely care about the residents. Any maintenance requests I’ve submitted were handled quickly and efficiently. It’s rare to find an apartment community where management truly goes above and beyond, but this one definitely does. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable home with top-notch service!

During an emergency apartment search, this one not only had a wonderful move in special, it had a high rating for the area. Once we had a tour of the 2bed 1 bath, we were sold. Next day applied and got approved, paid our move in fees and moved in the next day! Both office staff are super personable, very understanding and helpful women, they were on top of their communication and getting everything expedited for us to move in quickly. Our unit is extremely similar to the display one, and even came with a brand new washer/dryer. Id say for all the amenities, the price for the unit is amazing! 😊💯

They have very nice and helpful staff and maintenance. But the place could use some more maintenance workers and a little more of a modern look. Other then that no issues. I love the location and the fact that so many things nearby are walkable. Since, I don't have a car.

My personal experience here has been great. Shae along with the Leasing Manager and other Leasing Agent, were so helpful through the whole process. Shae went above and beyond making sure our apartment was ready for move in. Her deligence and care made this move in journey easy and a weight off of our shoulders. The maintenance man is such a sweetheart and is busy working all day to help the whole apartment community. We truly appreciate the care shown to us by all of the staff, security guards as well! No place is perfect but I don’t mind being in an environment where people really do care about you. That’s to be appreciated 😊

Well, we got new owners again. Coming up on year 5 soon and I gotta say, these folks are fantastic. The previous owners left them a mess but they have jumped on it and handled most of the hiccups. I live here I am a new tenant This place can use new management They got rid of a beautiful person Ida she is so missed she is a people person The maintenance here is like a revolving door always someone new My apt is too small had to get rid of many things I truly hope things change here Oh I hate carpets and I am a senior to much maintenance to keep it clean I just hate carpets to shampoo and vacuum it's hard for me I can't afford a professional to clean it They just placed a new person in the office she seems to be nice

I love this place. The staff is great and very friendly. Rachel, in the office, is very personable, The maintenance guys are funny, and show up fairly quickly. It's relatively quiet, and there's plenty of parking. But... If you're visiting, make sure you park in the appropriate spots or you WILL get towed. Overall, I plan to stay here for a long time. 5/5 WOULD recommend.

My journey with the O'Connor Oaks Apartment Homes began in November. Ms. Rachel and Ms. Jessica really went to bat for my daughter, grandson and I. They helped us fight to get SAHA to do their job. It took much longer than any of us anticipated but they helped us get into our apartment - I can not thank them enough. They both are true champions!! I also want to say thank you to Michael for seeing to our maintenance work request so quickly (within 24 hours). He was friendly courteous and even brought treats for my dogs.

Both Jessica and Rachel went above and beyond by going to bat for us with SAHA(San Antonio Housing Authority). With every obstacle my mom and I faced, they were with us every step of the way. If you have a housing voucher and looking for an available apartment, these two ladies have your back. They also make sure your repair requests are handled within 24 hrs. Michael not only replaced our refrigerator light, he also fixed our shelves in my mom's bedroom closet and my linen closet. He was professional, efficient, and friendly. He gave each of our dogs a treat.

My parents live here and I am very impressed so far. When they advertise upgraded they are truly up graded. From the appliances, granite countertops, updated fixtures,wall plugs,and switches these units are absolutely beautiful. They even offer fireplaces in some units if that is something you request.

The new staff and owners here have made the best changes. Everything is so much better. Thanks for the best service. EDIT: it's been a few years now and I've got to say everything here has been superb! I've yet again renewed my lease for this year and I've never felt so comfortable in where I live. Rachel and Michael and Ramm and Michelle have really made this place the best to be at here in San Antonio. They've provided the best service with no issues in regards to rent or payments as well as modern appliances! I recommend O'Connor oaks for your next home, be it permanent or temporary. P.S. The pools here are fabulous thanks to the hard work they put into them! Blue as the summer sky!
